The Board of Directors is pleased inviting you to the Annual General Assembly of GreenFacts asbl. This AGA will be preceded by an Extraordinary General Assembly, following the one held on 29 May last, where legally required quorum was not reached.
Effective members are invited to deliberate and vote on the agendas below.
Both meetings will take place at Royal Flemish Academy for Sciences and the Arts, Rue Ducale 1 Hertogstraat, 1000 Brussels on Wednesday 20 June 2007 at respectively 15:30 and 16:00.
They will be followed at 18:00 by the presentation of the “The Santo-Vanuatu Expedition 2006 : Biodiversity in state of emergency”.(Invitation below)
An Extraordinary General Assembly of GreenFacts will take place at the GreenFacts registered office, 163 bld Reyers, 1030 Brussels on May 29 , 2004 at 8h00.
Agenda: modification of the statutes.
Please note that by law, the presence of 2/3 of the members is required to validate the vote. If that quorum is not reached, a second Extraordinary General Assembly will be convened on June 20th at 15h30 at the Palais des Académies, 1 rue Ducale – 1000 Brussels 1. No quorum will be required for that second assembly.
The Co-Publication on Tooth Whiteners, done at the request of the European Commission DG Health and Consumer Protection, is released.

GreenFacts organised a press lunch with Bruno Tobback, Belgian Minister for Environment and Pensions. In an informal discussion with the press the Minister commented the big lines of the IPCC 4th Assessment Report, in particular the upcoming report of Working Group II of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
