At the Extraordinary General Assembly, in order to comply with the new law on asbl, the statutes were reviewed and the new name of the organisation became "GreenFacts".

At the Extraordinary General Assembly of GreenFacts Foundation held today at 17:00, the legal quorum of presence to vote the change of statutes was not reached.

You are therefore invited to a new Extraordinary General Assembly to deliberate and vote on the agenda below. Please note that for this second Assembly, no quorum will be required.

It will take place at the registered office (at the Clockarium), 163 bd Reyers, 1030 Brussels on 24 June 2004 at 19h00 (see map)

Agenda

- Modification of the statutes in order to comply with the new law on asbls.

- Final budget 2004.

- Classification of new member : Mr Guy Ethier, Senior Vice-President Environment, Health & Safety, Umicore, proposed in the category “Industry”.

An Extraordinary General Assembly of GreenFacts Foundation will take place at the GreenFacts offices, 44, rue des Palais, 1030 Brussels on June 9 , 2004 at 17h00.

Agenda: modification of the statutes, notably in order to comply with the new belgian law on asbl.

Please note that by law, the presence of 2/3 of the members is required to validate the vote. If that quorum is not reached, a second Extraordinary General Assembly will be convened on June 24th at 19h00 at the Clockarium Museum. No quorum will be required for that second assembly.

The 2003 General Assembly of GreenFacts Foundation took place at 7pm in the Clockarium Museum. GreenFacts adopted its new Microsoft Word Document"Règlement d'Ordre Intérieur"
(Microsoft Word DocumentStanding Regulation), with an improved definition of the role of the Scientific Board and updated guidelines on how GreenFacts Digests should be written, approved and published.

GreenFacts publishes a draft of its Digest on Water Disinfectants, which summarises the 2000 IPCS monograph.

The Final draft of Endocrine Disruptors Digest (including the peer reviewers comments) is now on-line, awaiting final SB approval
