Website Update - IT internships

GreenFacts is a non-profit organization bringing together key players concerned with environment and health matters.

It publishes, on GreenFacts.org, factual unbiased summaries of reference scientific documents in a language for the non-specialists, aiming to promote science and objectivity in the debate.

The Organization is managed by a small team with offices in Brussels located within walking distance from the North Station.

A desired candidate should be:

Rigorous, with careful attention to detail;
With a good working knowledge of written English (spelling & grammar) and preferably French;
Skilled with computers;
Basic knowledge of XML;
Basic knowledge of Linux (optional);
Interested in sciences and environment & health matters.

Job description :

Main task: Updating our website by migrating its content to our new Content Management System as well as adding new content (mainly encoding tasks);
Additional tasks depending on skills: improving the custom Content Management System and/or automating network management tasks.

The experience the interns will be able to gain may include:

Development of Web implemtation and design skills;
Increased knowledge in environment and health matters;
Team working skills in a young and international team.

Duration of internship:

Typically 2 to 4 months
